1950 Knightstown Phone Book
Last fall my good friend, Gary Plank, loaned me a lot of old Knightstown phone books to use as reference material for this site. I’m very grateful to Gary for the use of them. He plans to give them to Historic Knightstown for their archive when I’m done with them. I have finally gotten around to doing something with them and plan to scan them into PDF and JPG files. I’ll give the discs to Historic Knightstown and maybe the Library, if they want them. I will send a copy to anyone who wants one for the price of postage when they are all processed.
It will probably take a long time to scan them all so I don’t know when they will be available. If anyone has a scanner and would like to volunteer to help please let me know.
I put some additional phone books on the web, outside of this site. They are in PDF format and require that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer to view them. The files are very large and will take a long… time to load on a dial-up connection. I don’t recommend it.
To see the other books in PDF format just click on these links::

This is the first part of the 1950 Phone Book. The files are very large so if you are on a “dial-up” service this page will take a long time to load. I am sorry for the slow preformance.
